Eric Hill DIRECTOR, PRODUCT AND DESIGN
Eric Hill spends most of his waking hours (and sometimes dreams) designing the user interface as well as developing the upcoming site features for TheStandard.com. Eric manages the team's daily push towards making the site easier to use, navigate, and ultimately "feel right". While brainstorming ideas for the future, Eric designs and builds tools for today. Eric also helps manage The Standard's prediction market.
Eric has worked in the Web design field for over ten years and designed sites for companies such as Broadband Sports, The Hartford, McDonalds, Sun Microsystems and InfoWorld. While working at Studio Interactive, a design arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, as well as at InfoWorld, Eric received 3 separate design awards for his work.
Eric studied digital media and animation at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. He now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, daughter, and an old pug named Cyrano.
